Dato unveiled their latest memory and storage solutions at Computex 2026, headlined by the Ares Armor Lite DDR5 series. These modules feature distinctive curvy metal heatspreaders with acrylic diffusers for ARGB lighting. Available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities, the memory comes in DDR5-5600, DDR5-6000, and DDR5-6400 speed options for both single and dual-channel configurations.

The Ares Aethon represents Dato's performance-focused M.2 Gen 5 NVMe SSD line. This drive utilizes a DRAMless controller with an aluminum heatsink and delivers impressive sequential speeds of up to 12 GB/s reads and 10 GB/s writes. Storage capacities range from 1TB to 8TB, targeting users needing high-performance storage without DRAM cache.

Ares Aerofin stands out as the enthusiast-segment Gen 5 NVMe SSD with an innovative active cooling solution. The 1 cm-thick design features heatsinks with skived fins ventilated by a 20mm fan reaching up to 14,000 RPM while maintaining noise levels under 22 dBA. Performance reaches 14 GB/s sequential reads and 12 GB/s writes, available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB configurations.

Dato's Computex offerings demonstrate the company's commitment to pushing thermal management boundaries in high-performance components, particularly with the Aerofin's active cooling system addressing heat challenges of next-generation storage devices.
