Cherry XTRFY has unveiled the M42V2 gaming mouse at Gamescom, marking the first product in a new series aimed at delivering high-performance gear to a broader audience. Weighing just 45 grams, the M42V2 features an ultralight, solid-shell design with two interchangeable back shells for customized fit across palm, claw, and fingertip grips. Built on the success of the M42, it combines competitive-grade performance with an accessible price point.

Emil "HeatoN" Christensen, eight-time Counter-Strike world champion and Esports Hall of Fame inductee, praised the mouse, calling it the best-feeling he’s tried at its price. The M42V2 uses a Pixart 3327 sensor with CPI up to 6200, 1000 Hz polling rate, and Huano switches rated for 80 million clicks. It includes on-the-fly adjustment of CPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, and debounce time without software.

The mouse features matte UV coating, UHMW-PE glides, Teflon-free construction for sustainability, and a 1.8 m EZcord cable. It launches globally on August 27, 2026, priced at 39.99 EUR/USD/GBP.
