Axiomtek has launched the IMB711, an ATX server-grade motherboard built for Intel's 5th and 4th Gen Xeon Scalable processors. The board uses the Intel C741 chipset and is designed for mission-critical applications like AI acceleration, data centers, and advanced healthcare systems, emphasizing high compute density and enterprise reliability.

The IMB711 is particularly tuned for medical workloads, supporting processors up to 270W TDP. It's optimized for compute-intensive tasks such as high-end CT and MRI image reconstruction and advanced X-ray imaging for radiation therapy, aiming to accelerate processing for digital pathology and robotic-assisted surgery while ensuring 24/7 operational stability.

Expansion is a key focus, with four PCIe Gen 5 x16 slots for GPUs and accelerators, plus dual MCIO connectors and an M.2 slot for high-speed NVMe storage. The board also features eight DDR5-5200 ECC RDIMM slots, integrated BMC for management, and an IEC 60601-1-ready design for medical-grade compliance.
