Avalue Technology introduced two new Edge HPC products — the HPS-GNRU1A 1U server and HPM-GNRUP motherboard — designed to handle real-time, low-latency computing at the edge. The devices pair Intel Xeon 6 processors with PCIe Gen 5 and high-density NVMe storage, targeting AI inference, medical imaging, and smart manufacturing where data must be processed on-site rather than sent to distant data centers.

The HPS-GNRU1A packs a single Intel Xeon 6 chip (up to 350W TDP) into a compact 1U rackmount. It supports one double-wide FHFL GPU or two single-wide GPUs with an HHHL add-on, plus PCIe Gen 5 and dual 10GbE LAN. Storage options include up to ten hot-swappable E1.S NVMe drives. The HPM-GNRUP industrial board runs on Xeon 6 variants (6500P/6700P/6700E) with DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen 5, and IPMI 2.0 remote management.

By offering both a complete system and a standalone board, Avalue serves system integrators seeking rapid deployment alongside OEMs needing custom designs. Together, these products address the growing demand for on-site HPC in space-constrained environments across healthcare, manufacturing, and life sciences.
