ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled the ROG NUC 16, a compact gaming PC packing an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. The system targets gamers, creators, and AI enthusiasts with support for up to 128GB of DDR5-6400 memory and delivers up to 1334 AI TOPS for local computing tasks.

QuietFlow Cooling technology addresses thermal challenges in the compact three-liter chassis through three 102mm fans and dual vapor chambers, increasing CPU thermal coverage by 12%. The dedicated SSD heatsink reduces operating temperatures from 72°C to 59°C, while maintaining noise levels under 38 dBA even under full workloads.

The ROG NUC 16 introduces a Moonlight White Edition in a metal chassis with a patented removable stand that enables vertical or horizontal placement. Users can connect up to five 4K displays via Thunderbolt 4, while GlideX technology provides cross-platform screen sharing and control options. The system offers up to 2.3% better 3DMark performance than its predecessor.
