ASUS has launched the TUF Gaming B850I WiFi Neo, marking the first time the TUF Gaming brand has appeared in a Mini-ITX 17 x 17 cm form factor. Built on the AMD AM5 platform with the B850 chipset, the motherboard supports Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. The board features two memory slots supporting up to 128 GB DDR5 modules, with speeds varying by CPU generation.

PCIe connectivity includes a Gen 5 x16 slot with Ryzen 7000/9000 chips and Gen 4 with Ryzen 8000. Storage options include two M.2 slots and two SATA 6 Gb/s ports, though the second M.2 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 regardless of CPU. The 8 + 2 + 1 phase VRM with 80 A rating handles power delivery on a 10-layer PCB.

The rear I/O offers comprehensive connectivity including USB 20 Gbps Type-C, dual USB 10 Gbps Type-A, Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5 GbE, and HDMI 2.1. Audio is powered by a Realtek 7.1 HD codec with dedicated shielding. While pricing hasn't been announced, the board will likely undercut the $469.99 ROG Strix B850-I, positioning it as a more affordable Mini-ITX option for AMD's AM5 platform.
