Arduino S.r.l., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., has opened pre-orders for the VENTUNO Q, its most advanced edge AI platform to date. Powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 Series, the board features a dual-brain architecture pairing a Dragonwing IQ-8275 processor with up to 40 TOPS of AI performance alongside a dedicated STM32H5 real-time microcontroller. The platform includes 16 GB LPDDR5 memory, 64 GB eMMC storage, and expandable M.2 NVMe support.

It ships with preloaded Ubuntu and offers developers flexibility through the Arduino App Lab, VS Code, or native Linux tools. A curated library of NPU-optimized models is available out of the box, with options to bring custom GGUF-format models from Hugging Face or train via Edge Impulse Studio. Deployment is streamlined for commercial use in robotics, industrial AI, smart cities, and education.

A key 'Works with Arduino' pathway allows the Dragonwing IQ8 processor to transition from prototype to production via SOM form factors from partners SECO and Toradex, preserving the software stack and AI models built during development.
