Arctic Targets AI Workstations with New HEDT Liquid Coolers

Arctic is expanding its Liquid Freezer AIO lineup to support massive CPU sockets. New coolers target Intel LGA4677, LGA4710, and AMD TR5 and SP6 platforms. This move responds to a surge in AI inferencing, which drives demand for high-end workstations capable of running four RTX 5090 GPUs with full x16 interfaces.

Intel users get a dedicated LGA4710 water block optimized for Granite Rapids tile-based processors. This block appears in several configurations, including the WS360-4710 and various 2U and 4U rack options. These designs use an internal microfin lattice to manage heat more efficiently across the processor surface.

AMD's SP6 block handles the chiplet layout of EPYC and Ryzen Threadripper PRO chips. To manage a 600 W peak TDP, Arctic uses 38 mm-thick radiators and high static-pressure fans. Rack-friendly side-facing fittings make these units easier to install in dense server environments.

These specialized coolers fill a gap in the HEDT market where standard consumer AIOs fail. By focusing on chiplet and tile architectures, the company provides thermal solutions for the most power-hungry workstation CPUs. These products target the intersection of AI development and professional server hardware.
