Apeer2 Unveils ITX Case with Built‑In Monitor Mount at Computex

At Computex 2026, Apeer2 drew attention with its ITX Case, a Mini‑ITX chassis that doubles as a monitor stand. The unit mounts a display directly onto the case via a built‑in integrated VESA extension offering three fixed positions, height adjustment, tilt and portrait rotation. By merging enclosure and screen, the design promises a compact desk footprint.

The aluminium shell measures 266 × 222 × 478 mm and weighs 8.27 kg, with magnetic side panels for tool‑free access and integrated cable clips. Internally it supports GPUs up to 370 mm, CPU coolers up to 95 mm, and SFX or SFX‑L power supplies up to 150 mm. Radiator options include 240 mm or 280 mm, plus two 80 mm and two 92 mm fan mounts, while perforated panels aid airflow.

Apeer2 offers the case in gray or green, with preorders opening at $650. By eliminating a separate monitor arm, the product could appeal to space‑constrained workstations and streamer setups, forcing traditional case manufacturers to reconsider integration strategies. Early interest suggests the market may embrace all‑in‑one chassis as a niche but growing segment.

The concept echoes earlier attempts at desk‑integrated PCs but distinguishes itself with a premium aluminium build and full support for high‑end components. If preorder volumes meet expectations, Apeer2 could justify scaling production, potentially influencing future compact‑gaming and professional rigs. For now, the case sits at the intersection of design novelty and practical utility.
