AMD pushed out AMD Software Adrenalin 26.6.1 WHQL drivers today, bringing optimizations for two upcoming titles: F1 25: 2026 Season Pack and World of Tanks: HEAT. These performance tweaks arrive just as both games prepare for release, giving Radeon owners a smoother experience from day one.

The update addresses several frustrating stability issues affecting recent Radeon cards. RX 9000 series GPUs get fixes for intermittent crashes in Subnautica 2 and Marvel Rivals, plus a bug that prevented zero RPM fan mode from staying disabled after monitors slept. RX 6000 series owners will notice resolved visual artifacts in Enshrouded.

However, Battlefield 6 users face ongoing problems. AMD acknowledges crashes on Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 systems and texture corruption when using Record and Stream features. FSR upscaling also appears inactive in the software interface despite being enabled. These issues suggest rushed game launches are straining driver teams.

AMD recommends rolling back to version 26.3.1 if you encounter Blender crashes on RX 7000 series cards. Installation failures with AI Bundle components may hit users in regions with restricted HuggingFace access. The driver is available now through AMD's support site.
