Acer introduced its Predator Helios 18 AI gaming laptop at Computex 2026, packing up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. The flagship model features an 18-inch Mini LED display with 1000 nits brightness and supports both 4K 120Hz and Full HD 240Hz modes. With up to 256GB memory and 6TB storage, it targets esports competitors needing desktop-level performance in a portable form.

The Acer Nitro 16 breaks new ground as the first Acer gaming laptop with AMD's Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor. This 16-inch value machine pairs that CPU with up to an RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU and a WQXGA 240Hz display. A dual-fan cooling system with vector heat pipes keeps thermals in check during extended gaming sessions.

Acer also launched the Nitro Blaze Link streaming handheld, a 464-gram device that streams PC games via Wi-Fi 6. The 7-inch WUXGA touchscreen connects to existing gaming setups, letting households share a single PC or gamers play untethered around the home. Dual 2-watt speakers prioritize dialogue clarity and sound cues.

Both laptops ship with three months of PC Game Pass and Windows 11. The Predator Helios 18 AI arrives in North America this August, while the Nitro 16 launches simultaneously in North America and EMEA markets. Pricing details remain under wraps until closer to release.
