8BitDo has launched the Ultimate 3C+ Wireless Controller, a more affordable version of its Ultimate 3 series. Priced at $39.99 on Amazon, it officially releases on October 30. Based on the Xbox design with ABXY buttons and offset thumb sticks, it supports Android and Windows via 2.4 GHz, USB-C, and Bluetooth 5.4 LE. The 2.4 GHz connection offers 1 kHz polling for reduced latency.
The controller features premium upgrades like TMR joysticks with adjustable tension, separate trigger vibration motors, lockable back paddles, and additional L/R4 shoulder buttons. It includes Hall effect triggers with linear and non-linear modes and magnetic storage for the 2.4 GHz receiver. The 500 mAh battery provides up to 20 hours of use on 2.4 GHz or 32 hours via Bluetooth.
Available in Stealth Black, Avocado Green, and Frost White, the 3C+ lacks the interchangeable d-pad, 3.5 mm audio jack, and charging dock found on the higher-end Ultimate 3 model.
