8BitDo has officially launched two new products: a Retro Wireless Receiver for the Nintendo 64 and a modern 2.4 GHz wireless controller designed for the classic console. The Retro Wireless Receiver, priced at $24.99, works via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and connects to various controllers, including Switch 64 Online, Switch Pro, and Wii U Pro models, as well as Xbox and PlayStation controllers. It features built-in memory and vibration support, customizable via 8BitDo's Ultimate Software, and is available on Amazon and the 8BitDo eShop.

The company also sells a mod kit to convert the original N64 controller wireless. The 8BitDo 64 2.4 GHz controller, costing $39.99, is a modern redesign of the existing Bluetooth model, repackaged for 2.4 GHz use with the Retro Wireless Receiver. It features a unique button layout with large AB buttons and a D-Pad, designed specifically for N64 compatibility while incorporating modern internals like a Hall-effect joystick and support for Windows via wired connection.
