The entire main cast returns for Jumanji: Open World, including Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black as Shelly Oberon, Karen Gillan as Ruby Roundhouse, Bebe Neuwirth as Nora, Morgan Turner as Martha, Madison Iseman as Bethany, Kevin Hart as Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, Nick Jonas as Jefferson “Seaplane” Mc Donough, Awkwafina as Ming Flatfoot, Alex Wolff as Spencer Gilpin, and Ser’Darius Blain as Fridge Johnson. Rhys Darby reprises Nigel Billingsley, while Danny De Vito appears as Spencer’s grandfather Eddie. Burn Gorman, Nasim Pedrad, and Brittany O’Grady also join the ensemble.
The new trailer shows avatars and animals spilling into the real world, mirroring the 1995 film. Characters are forced to swap bodies again, creating more chaotic hijinks. Notably, Spencer’s mom Janice (Marin Hinkle) ends up in Bravestone’s avatar, while Spencer takes Ruby Roundhouse’s form.
Kitchen worker Donatas becomes Shelly Oberon, and Nora’s nephew Tyson inherits Mouse Finbar’s avatar. The film promises another round of body‑swapping mayhem as the group races to get back into the game and restore order, with a December 25, 2026 release date.
