Lexar showcased its AI Storage Core at IFA 2026, combining advanced packaging and the Longsys Gen 5 controller SPU to deliver next-gen AI-grade Gen 5 SSD and Storage Stick with up to 11 GB/s bandwidth. These concepts support compact AI devices needing larger local model storage and faster switching. Underpinning the tech is an integrated hardware-software architecture featuring the 5 nm, DRAM-less SPU, which improves supply stability.

Lexar Luma Bridge technology uses intelligent workload scheduling and predictive prefetch to address large Mixture-of-Experts models and expanding KV Cache, improving local AI performance while reducing DRAM capacity requirements by approximately 40%. Separately, Lexar expanded its portfolio for commercial PCs and electric vehicles, highlighting client SSD options for system builders and a dedicated Dashcam USB Flash Drive Series for EV users. This series features high-endurance firmware and broad compatibility designed for continuous loop recording in compact in-car forms, offering a purpose-built alternative to conventional drives across demanding temperatures.
