Cooler Master has extended the warranty for its GPU Shield Adapter in the United States from one year to three years. The adapter, designed to protect the 12V-2×6 power connector used in NVIDIA and some AMD GPUs, originally launched in China in August with a three-year warranty. Cooler Master confirmed the extension applies to adapters purchased through authorized channels in North America.

While product websites, specification sheets, and documentation will be updated in the coming weeks, the company stated customers can consider this official confirmation. The GPU Shield Adapter features visual and auditory warnings for power anomalies and can actively reduce current when higher-than-normal levels are detected. It also includes dual-color connector tips to ensure proper cable insertion.

The adapter has a total cable length of 200 mm and is available on Cooler Master's online shop for $49.99.
