Wakefield Trinity host Leigh Leopards in the opening Super League play-off eliminator. Wakefield lead 24-6 after tries from Tyson Smoothy, Tom Johnstone, Isiah Vagana, and Caius Faatili, with Max Jowitt adding goals. Leigh's David Armstrong scored just before half-time.

Wakefield finished fourth in the regular season, four points and one place above Leigh. The winner will meet either Wigan Warriors or Leeds Rhinos in the semi-finals next weekend.
