The United States men's national team earned a 4-1 win over Peru in a friendly at Inter.co Stadium on Saturday in Orlando, Florida. After an early goal from Justin Ellis in the fourth minute for the U.S., Peru responded with an equalizer by Gianluca Lapadula in the first half. After halftime, the Americans took charge thanks to Malik Tillman scoring on a penalty kick and Julian Hall converting during open play. To close out the one-sided result, Sebastian Berhalter then scored from distance in the 90th minute to cement the victory.

With the win, U.S. coach Mauricio Pochettino and his players will prepare for their next friendly against Chile on Sep. 29.
