Roy Hodgson returns to management at 78 after being appointed interim head coach at Bristol City, replacing Gerhard Struber until the end of the season. The veteran coach faces an immediate challenge when his side visits Charlton Athletic on April 3, exactly 44 years after his last match in charge. With seven games remaining, Hodgson must quickly reverse a poor run of form that cost Bristol City any hope of reaching the playoff places this season.
