Your league's scoring format impacts which players are worth drafting all throughout the draft. The same player can be a steal in one format and a trap in another, and most draft boards don't tell you which. So I built one that does.

I took every skater who played at least 10 games last season and valued them three separate ways: as a total-points league sees them, as a roto category league sees them, and as a head-to-head league sees them. To highlight usable players, I trimmed each list to a 2.0 fantasy-points-per-game floor and, for roto, a category-value bar that roughly the top 100 skaters clear. Then I looked for the gaps.

Brady Tkachuk is the poster child for roto risers as the hits, shots and power-play points stack up alongside real scoring. Will Cuylle is the sneakier version, one of the league's biggest hitters with some decent scoring bursts attached. And don't overlook the Hurricanes trio of Svechnikov, Aho and Jarvis. Carolina's shot-volume system pumps up peripherals across the board.
