The Green Bay Packers have signed veteran guard Laken Tomlinson off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad, adding much-needed offensive line depth.

Tomlinson, 34, is a 2015 first-round pick who has played in 173 career games but none since Week 17 of last season. The Packers (1-2) have started three different players at left guard this season, with preferred starter Aaron Banks limited to one game due to injuries.

First-year starter Jacob Monk has struggled at right guard, and the team lost starting right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele to a season-ending knee injury in Week 2. Quarterback Jordan Love has been under heavy pressure, getting hit 15 times in Week 1 and 12 times in Thursday's loss to the Falcons.

Through three games, the Packers have a pass block win rate of 16%, the lowest by any team since the metric began in 2017. Their run blocking has been equally poor, rushing for just 17 yards against the Falcons and averaging a league-worst 48.7 yards per game.
