The WNBA released its 2026 postseason schedule on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026. The best-of-three first round opens Sunday, Sept. 27, with four games airing across ABC, Prime, and USA. The best-of-five semifinals tip off Sunday, Oct. 4, and the best-of-seven WNBA Finals open Saturday, Oct. 17. The first round follows a 1-1-1 format, the semifinals a 2-2-1, and the Finals a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with higher seeds hosting additional games.

First-round games are scheduled Sept. 27 through Oct. 2, with potential Game 3s on Sept. 30 and Oct. 2. Semifinal games run Oct. 4 through Oct. 14, with potential decisive Game 5s on that date. The WNBA Finals span Oct. 17 through Oct. 31, with potential Games 6 and 7 on Oct. 29 and Oct. 31.
