Ryan Garcia defends his WBC welterweight title against Conor Benn at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday (Paramount+, 8 p.m. ET).

Garcia (25-2, 20 KOs) started 23-0 but is 2-2 with one no-contest in his past five. He defeated Devin Haney in April 2024, but the victory was overturned after testing positive for ostarine. He lost to Rolando "Rolly" Romero before rebounding against Mario Barrios in February to win the title. Benn (25-1, 14 KOs) is coming off a win over Regis Prograis in April. He twice tested positive for clomifene in 2022 and was suspended in 2023.

Benn plans to move up to 160 pounds after this fight, making the 147-pound limit crucial. Can Garcia use his speed and left hand? Or can Benn get inside and apply pressure?

Raul Marquez, former junior middleweight champion, says Garcia must use speed, footwork, and control distance. "Ryan wins by controlling pace and distance, landing a one-two," Marquez said. "If Ryan catches him coming in, I think Round 6, Round 7, middle rounds, Conor gets knocked out."
