NFL Roster Cuts

Sunday’s 6 p.m. ET deadline brought a flurry of moves as all 32 teams finalized their 53-man rosters. The Titans waived quarterback Will Levis after an injury-plagued tenure, while the Bills cut Mecole Hardman and the Giants acquired defensive tackle Roy Okoye in a live tracker of all transactions. Odell Beckham Jr. earned a spot on the Giants’ initial roster after a season out of the league.

Quarterback Rooms

The Steelers are keeping four quarterbacks—Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Drew Allar behind starter Aaron Rodgers—after feeling good about their QB room. Cleveland placed Dillon Gabriel on injured reserve with a back injury and designated him to return, carrying Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders, and rookie Taylen Green as their three active signal-callers.

Injuries & Exemptions

Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet remains on the PUP list, meaning he’ll miss at least Seattle’s first four games. The NFL placed Packers RB Josh Jacobs on the commissioner exempt list as the team traded for a replacement back. Broncos outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper was also placed on the exempt list following two arrests this summer on domestic violence charges. The Eagles put Jonathan Greenard on the initial 53-man roster, a positive sign in his recovery from a pec injury. Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was arrested early Sunday on drunken driving charges.
