Xiaomi has launched its first wide-format foldable, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, arriving two days before Apple’s rumored iPhone Ultra. The device features Xiaomi’s self‑developed Xring O3 SoC, paired with 12/16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB storage. It sports a 7.58" folding display (2364×1672) and a 5.38" cover screen, both at 120 Hz and 4,000‑nit peak brightness, protected by Shield Glass 3.0.

Photography is handled by a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 main sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3.5× optical zoom, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 16 MP selfie camera on each screen. A 6,000 mAh battery with 20 % silicon content supports 67 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. The phone runs Hyper OS 4 on Android 17, includes a side‑mounted fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Available in black, cherry red, warm gold, and a ceramic special edition, it measures 117.8 × 83.6 × 10.68 mm folded and weighs 219 g. Pricing starts at CNY 10,999 ($1,638) for the 12/256 GB model, with the ceramic edition at CNY 15,999 ($2,383). The Xiaomi 18 Fold will be sold only in China.
