Apple unveiled several new devices, including Air Pods 5, Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4, and the i Phone Duo. But the i Phone 18 Pro is likely a bigger draw. I got hands-on time with it at Apple Park, checking out the new burgundy color and its variable aperture camera.

The camera app now lets you adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO directly from the viewfinder. Aperture options are limited to f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/4.0. It's a bit tricky to use one-handed, but the system is intuitive—you can see the blades moving as you switch.

The Dynamic Island is smaller, which feels like an upgrade. It can now show three live activities at once, like timers, music from Spotify, and delivery updates from Flighty. I tested this with an Apple rep, and it worked smoothly.

Photographic Styles also got a refresh, with new texture and grain options and clearer labels like "Amber + Glow" or "Cozy + Film." This story is still developing, so check back for more details.
