Add and Remove Cards in Apple Wallet

Apple Wallet can store payment cards, transit passes, driver's licenses, IDs, loyalty cards, tickets and even keys. To add payment cards, open Wallet, tap the Plus (+) button and choose Debit or Credit Card. You can hold an eligible physical card near your iPhone or enter details manually.

Follow onscreen instructions—your bank may require additional verification. For other passes like gift cards or event tickets, look for 'Add to Apple Wallet' buttons in apps, emails, websites, QR codes or AirDrop. Apple Gift Cards are redeemed through your Apple Account balance rather than appearing as separate passes.

To remove a payment card, open Wallet, select it, tap the three-dot menu, choose Card Details and tap Remove Card. Passes are removed by selecting the pass, tapping the three-dot menu and choosing Remove Pass. Removing a payment card from one device doesn't remove it from others, but deleting a pass removes it from all devices.

If your iPhone is lost, you can remove Apple Pay cards remotely from another device signed into your account.
