Jamf is expanding enterprise controls directly into mobile apps and browsers, with new AI protections targeting general availability in the fourth quarter of 2026. The Jamf platform additions were unveiled at the Jamf Nation User Conference in Kansas City. Unlike Addigy Intelligence, Jamf's new controls focus on the AI services employees use and the information those services can access.

Personal AI accounts on managed iPhones and iPads will come under management through Jamf's AI Governance feature, which can discover AI tools, enforce policies, and generate reports. Upcoming browser controls will extend visibility into Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and other browsers. IT teams will be able to identify personal AI account usage and apply policies when protected information is about to leave the organization, without accessing the employee's personal account.

Deeper activity insights will show flagged AI use by device, user, and command line, while separate reports estimate token usage and costs by tool, model, provider, user, and device. Mobile AI Governance will bring similar monitoring and policy controls to native apps and browsers on managed iPhones and iPads. Local AI deployment via Jamf Blueprints will allow organizations to run AI workloads on Apple hardware without sending data to cloud providers, keeping sensitive work on managed hardware.
