Samsung is reportedly focusing on the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra, dropping the base variant. The Plus may feature a 12.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, while the Ultra keeps its 14.6-inch panel. Both are powered by MediaTek's 3nm Dimensity 9500 chip, with leaked benchmarks showing a major performance leap. The design remains conservative, with aluminum build, IP68 protection, and S Pen support.

Pricing leaks suggest the Tab S12 Plus could cost $1,200 for 256GB, and the Ultra $1,400 for 256GB, with European prices at €1,299 and €1,539 respectively. This marks a significant price increase over the Tab S11 generation. The tablets are tipped to launch on October 7, with final pricing to be confirmed by Samsung.

The Dimensity 9500's Geekbench scores indicate performance is the key upgrade, not a visual redesign. The Plus is lighter than its predecessor at 555 grams, despite a larger 10,600mAh battery, while the Ultra retains its 11,600mAh cell. Both support 45W charging and microSD expansion.
