Apple's new iPhone Handoff feature, allowing users to share a single phone number across two iPhones, will cost $5 per month on T-Mobile. The feature was introduced during WWDC and further detailed at Apple's 'Surprise and Shine' event by Kaiann Drance, VP of iPhone Product Marketing. iPhone Handoff launches with T-Mobile and Deutsche Telekom, with Verizon and EE support coming by year-end.

While Apple's support page notes that carrier fees may apply, Deutsche Telekom does not charge a separate fee for iPhone Handoff specifically. Instead, the feature is part of the carrier's Multi SIM offering, which costs €6.95 per month, though one Multi SIM is already included at no additional cost with select plans.

Stetson Doggett highlighted the T-Mobile pricing on X. Customers are advised to contact their carriers for specific fee details. The feature enables instant activation of the phone number on whichever iPhone is picked up, improving connectivity between cellular and Wi-Fi networks.
