Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel criticized the US for selling euros in a recent effort to support the Japanese yen, without consulting European partners. "Of course, it would have been desirable — and this was also the customary practice in the past — to coordinate and consult in advance regarding such interventions," Nagel said during a press conference in Asheville, North Carolina, where he's attending a meeting of the Group of 20 finance and central-bank chiefs.
