Amy Hunt says she is 'on the up' and 'not afraid of anyone' after finishing second in the 100m at the Diamond League Final in Brussels. The 24-year-old Briton ran 11.06 seconds, behind Jamaica's Tina Clayton (10.93), one day after a third-placed 200m finish. Hunt surpassed American Olympic silver medallist Sha'Carri Richardson and continues strong late-season form following four golds at the European Championships in Birmingham.

Fellow Briton Georgia Hunter Bell placed fourth in the 1500m despite pre-race favouritism, attributing her performance to a 'long hard season' of 19 races. Poland's Klaudia Kazimierska won the event in 1:54.05.

Hunt will compete in the 100m and 200m at the inaugural Ultimate Championships in Budapest starting 11 September. Switzerland's Audrey Werro won the women's 800m in 1:54.75, with Dutch athlete Femke Broeders-Bol close behind.
