Manchester United have banned 685 accounts and sanctioned or warned 464 supporters after a ticket touting investigation. Findings: 468 cases resolved with no action; 226 final warnings; 238 bans reduced to home forwarding and away applications; 499 season ticket bans upheld; 73 unappealed bans; 113 bans for no response. United said bans targeted significant misuse for financial gain, including organised networks. Club sources said innocent fans were not punished.

The 1958 fans group called for a protest before Sunday's Manchester derby. United stressed fair access and safety. Manchester City banned 165 supporters in March 2025; Liverpool issued 432 lifetime bans in July 2026. A BBC investigation uncovered a black market selling thousands of Premier League tickets.
