Apple has introduced the Apple Watch Series 12, featuring the most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable to date. The device includes higher-frequency heart rate and HRV measurements, powered by the new S11 chip. A redesigned Health app arrives later this year with a Longevity tab and Health Age feature.

The S11 chip also enables Audio Intelligence, helping users remember key conversation moments and stay alert to important sounds, with privacy and accessibility at the core. watchOS 27 brings Apple Intelligence to Siri, offering personal context and broad world knowledge on the wrist.

The Series 12 continues to support advanced workout tracking, sleep tracking, heart health notifications, the ECG app, sleep apnea detection, Fall Detection, and Emergency SOS. It is available in finishes including dark bronze, black, light gold, space gray aluminum, radiant gold, and natural titanium, plus a ceramic option in pearl white and night blue.

Aluminum models feature Ceramic Shield 2, which is 60 percent tougher than previous Ion-X glass. Pre-orders are open now, with availability beginning Friday, September 18.
