Serena and Venus Williams will compete in the Cincinnati Open women's doubles after receiving a wild card.

Serena recently returned to professional tennis after a nearly four-year hiatus. Despite a knee injury sidelining her and Venus from doubles at the All England Club after a singles loss, Serena has played other doubles matches, though not with Venus.

Venus, also receiving a singles wild card in Cincinnati, is aiming for her first singles win of 2026. She has had some doubles success this year, partnering with various players. The sisters, who have won 14 Major titles and three Olympic gold medals as a pair, last played doubles together at the 2022 US Open. This marks their first time as a team at the Cincinnati Open.

Other singles wild card recipients include Sloane Stephens and Taylor Townsend.
