Isaac Price inspired West Bromwich Albion to a 3-1 comeback victory against promotion favourites Burnley in the Sky Bet Championship. The Northern Ireland international scored twice in the second half at The Hawthorns, having set up Harry Whitwell's equaliser to cancel out Callum Styles' own goal.

Burnley, without star striker Zian Flemming sidelined with injury amid interest from Lille, failed to match their lofty billing in a disappointing second-half display. Albion continued their 100 per cent start to the season, gaining their third straight win in all competitions and second in the league to lie second in the early table behind Millwall on goal difference.

However, Burnley suffered their first defeat of the campaign as new boss Nicky Hayen still awaits his first Championship win. In a fast and furious start, Styles put into his own net in the eighth minute from Jacob Bruun Larsen's cross. Whitwell equalised in the 18th minute when he slotted home low to Max Weiss' left from 12 yards.

After the break, Inspired by Price, Albion produced a dominant second-half performance. Price put them ahead for the first time, curling the ball beyond Weiss. Burnley made a triple change, but instead Albion struck next. Bashir Humphreys upended Whitwell for a clear penalty, which Price converted low to seal the win.
