Donald Trump, 80, claimed his 43rd club championship after winning the Senior and Super Senior Men's Club Championship at his Bedminster golf course in New Jersey, posting a two-under 70 score. The win marks his second consecutive championship in both categories, following victories in 2023 and a sole Senior Championship in 2024.

In a Truth Social post, Trump taunted his opponents, stating "I won with a score of 70, and am so honoured in that, unlike the rest of the field, I'm given very little time to practise, because I'm focused on many other things" and adding "It's called TALENT, and I have it, and they don't!"

The victory comes amid previous allegations of cheating, including from American sports writer Rick Reilly's book 'Commander in Cheat', which suggested Trump has been known to cheat at golf. Reilly recounted how caddies at Winged Foot, where Trump is a member, allegedly gave him the nickname 'Pele' for kicking his ball back onto the fairway. Trump has consistently denied any allegations of cheating.
