York ended a five-match losing streak with a commanding 38-14 victory over Toulouse at the LNR Community Stadium. Scott Galeano starred with a hat-trick, while Paul Vaughan celebrated his 35th birthday with two tries. The Knights, previously bottom of the table on points difference, moved clear of their French opponents who remain rooted to the cellar.

Josh Charnley marked his 400th appearance with two tries as Leigh Leopards defeated Huddersfield Giants 30-16. The veteran winger increased his Super League tally to 263, leaving him just five tries shy of Ryan Hall's all-time record. AJ Towse also crossed twice for Leigh, who climbed to eighth in the standings with their fourth win of the season.

Huddersfield remain joint-bottom with Toulouse on four points after their fourth defeat in five matches. The Giants' tries came from Adam Swift, Taane Milne and Jacob Gagai, but defensive frailties proved costly against a Leigh side that converted 50% of their possession into points through clinical finishing.
