Southern Brave extended their perfect start in The Hundred to four wins from four, defeating Birmingham Phoenix by 24 runs. The Phoenix, still searching for their first victory, struggled to chase Brave's total of 141.

Despite a promising start from Tammy Beaumont and Davina Perrin, the Phoenix chase faltered after the strategic timeout. Alice Capsey and Perrin were dismissed in quick succession, with Perrin reaching a 40-ball half-century before her dismissal. Sophie Molineux was instrumental with the ball, taking two wickets, as the Phoenix ultimately fell short.

Earlier, Lizelle Lee's explosive 43 and Maia Bouchier's 45 laid the foundation for Brave's innings, with Jemimah Rodrigues adding crucial late momentum. Lee highlighted the importance of batting against the new ball and praised the team's bowling attack and captain Sophie Molineux's calm leadership.
