The next Solheim Cup will be held in the Netherlands from September 11-13 2026 at Bernardus Golf, a heathland course designed by Kyle Phillips that hosted the Dutch Open on the DP World Tour. It marks the first time the event visits the Netherlands and follows the biennial schedule that moved the competition to even‑numbered years to avoid clashes with the Ryder Cup.

The format features 28 match‑play contests over three days: two sessions of foursomes, two of fourballs, and a full field of singles on Sunday. Each match is worth one point, and the team that reaches 14.5 points first wins the cup.

Team Europe was selected from the 2024 La Sella Open through the 2026 AIG Women’s Open, with the top two on the LET Solheim Cup points list and six additional spots from the world rankings. Anna Nordqvist will captain the European side, choosing Caroline Hedwall and Mel Reid as vice‑captains, and has picked four wild‑cards, including Ireland’s Leona Maguire.

For Team USA, the top seven from the Solheim Cup list and two from the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings secure automatic spots, while the captain selects three more players. Angela Stanford takes the role, having earned six caps and three victories, and has named Kristy McPherson, Paula Creamer, and Brittany Lang as her support team.
