Two-division world champion Skye Nicolson has signed with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). The Australian will defend her WBC super-bantamweight title against Miyo Yoshida on August 29 in Birmingham, live on Sky Sports.

Nicolson, an Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medallist, joins Jake Paul's promotional organisation, stating her desire to be at the centre of women's boxing's "new era" and compete in the biggest fights. She aims to unify the super-bantamweight division with a win over three-time world champion Yoshida.

MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian highlighted Nicolson's status as a recognisable athlete and a calibre of fighter they are building their organisation around. The August 29 card also features Caroline Dubois defending her lightweight titles.
