Sky Sports Cup fixtures are now confirmed for the competition's inaugural league stage, which begins on July 26 featuring ten clubs across eight matchups. The format includes eight SWPL 2 sides, four relegated SWPL teams, and two promoted SWF Championship clubs competing in a seeded-pot system.

Motherwell opens against Montrose as the highest-ranked seed, while Hamilton Academical faces Aberdeen following their relegation from the top flight. Kilmarnock meets Boroughmuir Thistle in an all-SWPL 2 clash, and Queen's Park hosts Spartans in their campaign opener.

Top six finishers advance directly to round two, where Glasgow City enters alongside Celtic, Hibernian and Partick Thistle. Teams placed seventh through tenth compete in a knockout play-off for the final two spots. Hearts and Rangers join later at the quarter-final stage due to their Women's Champions League commitments.

SWPL managing director Fiona McIntyre called the fixture release a landmark moment, emphasizing the format's ability to provide more games and advancement opportunities. The league stage runs through early August before merging with the established clubs for the knockout rounds.
