Kevin Sinfield will complete his final fundraising challenge in September, visiting all 12 English Super League grounds during a seven-day ultra marathon. The rugby league legend has raised over £11m for motor neurone disease charities through six previous endurance events. Starting at Hull KR on September 28, Sinfield runs 7km blocks within one-hour windows while honoring his late teammate Rob Burrow.

Burrow's four-and-a-half year battle with MND inspired Sinfield's remarkable fundraising journey. The former Leeds Rhinos captain told the BBC that his team's selfless dedication made the £11m achievement possible. His '7 in 7: The Grand Finale' route includes stops at Craven Park, MKM Stadium, and York Knights before crossing the Pennines toward Wigan and Leigh.

Each day features the Extra Mile event, where Sinfield joins MND sufferers for one-mile runs. Day four includes visits to Headingley, Odsal, and Huddersfield's Accu Stadium. The challenge culminates at Old Trafford on October 3, timed for the Super League Grand Final kick-off.

Sinfield's relentless advocacy has transformed MND research funding and awareness. With new treatments emerging from his efforts, this final challenge represents both closure and continued hope for families affected by this devastating disease.
