Shea Charles has emerged as one of the stars of Southampton's play-off push after missing nearly three months with injury. The 22-year-old midfielder returned to score the winner against Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-final, securing a Wembley trip. "Coming back and being able to contribute and score a few goals along the way has been really good for me," Charles said. Southampton face Middlesbrough in the play-off semi-finals starting May 9.

Lewie Coyle faces an even more personal challenge - captaining his hometown club Hull City to Premier League promotion. "It would be beyond my wildest dreams," the 30-year-old said. Coyle watched Hull's previous play-off successes from across Leeds where he was on the books from 2004-2020. Meanwhile, Jake Cooper has made over 400 appearances for Millwall since joining on loan in 2017 - far exceeding his expectations. "I didn't know where I would go after the three or four months I was here," Cooper admitted.

At Middlesbrough, Tommy Conway has become a fan favourite despite being at the club for less than two years. "I want to play for passionate fans and for fans that want to win every week," he said. The play-off semi-finals begin on May 8-9, with the final at Wembley on May 23. Hull host Millwall in the other semi-final.
