The Scottish Football Writers Association has revealed the Manager of the Year nominees with Jens Berthel Askou and Martin O'Neill joining John McGlynn and Derek McInnes on the shortlist. Askou guided Motherwell to fourth place in his first season, while O'Neill returned to Celtic twice this season following managerial departures.

McGlynn earned his nomination after taking Falkirk to a top-six finish following back-to-back promotions. McInnes could secure an awards double as Hearts sit four points clear at the top of the SWPL with two games remaining, potentially ending their 64-year wait for a league title.

Player awards also feature prominently with Hearts striker Claudio Braga looking to add to his PFA Scotland player of the year prize. Motherwell's Elijah Just and Tawanda Maswanhise impressed this season, with Maswanhise scoring 22 goals after joining the club in 2024.

The SWPL recognition includes player of the year candidates Lee Gibson, Maria McAneny, Georgia Timms, and Katie Wilkinson, with young player nominees Laura Berry, Lisa Forrest, Mia McAulay, and Jodi McLeary. The awards ceremony will recognize outstanding achievements across Scottish football this season.
