Castleford Tigers head coach Ryan Carr will miss the upcoming Hull KR game due to personal reasons. The club has confirmed that this absence is not related to social media speculation.

In Carr's stead, the team will be led by Chris Chester, Scott Murrell, and Rob Nickolay. They will receive significant support from club legend and former Man of Steel, Adrian Vowles, who has offered his assistance on short notice.

Carr, who took charge in pre-season on a three-year contract, previously coached Featherstone Rovers and served as assistant manager at Leeds Rhinos. Castleford currently occupies ninth place in the Super League table with seven wins from 21 matches. With six games remaining, the Tigers are set to face Hull FC, St Helens, Catalans Dragons, Bradford Bulls, and Huddersfield Giants after their encounter with Hull KR.
