Rangers Title Race Hinges on Results

Rangers manager Danny Röhl believes his team will be "tough to stop" in the Scottish Premiership title race if they start converting performances into results. Rangers sit three points behind leaders Hearts and one behind Celtic after their hard-fought 1-0 win over St Mirren. The Gers have dominated several matches recently but haven't always secured victories, including their Scottish Cup exit to Celtic despite controlling 120 minutes.

Röhl highlighted the mixed nature of Rangers' recent form: a strong 4-2 win against Hearts, good performances against Celtic and Livingston that didn't yield desired results, and a less stellar showing against St Mirren that still delivered three points. With eight fixtures remaining, the manager acknowledged time is running out but emphasized the importance of winning games as they approach the split in the league.

On a positive note, Röhl expressed his delight at 19-year-old winger Findlay Curtis receiving his first Scotland call-up while on loan at Kilmarnock. The manager revealed the club's plan was to get the young player game minutes, which has helped him earn international recognition. For the upcoming Aberdeen match, Röhl has doubts over Andreas Skov Olsen and Mikey Moore but is hopeful Mohamed Diomande will recover in time.
