Rangers manager Derek McInnes confirmed the club is actively pursuing more signings after a busy start to the transfer window, which saw five players arrive. The new additions include goalkeeper Ivan Pandur, Ross McCrorie, striker Lawrence Shankland, Dan Neil, and defender Ben Godfrey on loan. McInnes stressed the need for "ready-made" players to meet the season's demands.

McInnes acknowledged that player departures are also expected as he streamlines the squad. This follows Jack Butland's recent £3m move to Hull City. The manager indicated patience will be necessary at times to secure the right targets, balancing urgency with the need for quality acquisitions before the Scottish Premiership opener on July 31.

The club is also addressing interest in key players, including Scotland star Lewis Ferguson and midfielder Nicolas Raskin, who impressed at the World Cup. McInnes stated he is relaxed about the captaincy appointment, aiming to build a dressing room full of leaders before selecting one to succeed James Tavernier.
