Rangers ended another trophyless Premiership campaign with a 5-2 win at Falkirk, powered by Youssef Chermiti's hat-trick. The 21-year-old striker scored twice in the first six minutes, though a costly backpass from goalkeeper Jack Butland let Falkirk pull one back before Chermiti completed his treble with a 47th-minute header.

Djeidi Gassama restored a two-goal lead in the 29th minute and Calvin Miller cut the deficit from the penalty spot before Thelo Aasgaard sealed the victory with a spot-kick in the 78th minute. The match produced nine goals across the two fixtures at the Falkirk stadium this season, with the previous encounter ending 6-3 to Rangers.

Rangers finished third, their last league title coming in 2021, while Falkirk boss John McGlynn can celebrate a top-six finish in their first season back in the top flight. Danny Röhl called the campaign an "emotional rollercoaster" and admitted the side fell short in decisive moments, with a summer rebuild now inevitable.
