Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh has unveiled a £16m share issue to fund summer transfers and club operations, marking a significant investment in the club's ambitions. The Ibrox outfit will also increase adult season ticket prices by six-and-a-half per cent next season, with the total capital invested in the club reaching £36m over the past year.

Cavenagh emphasized the need to create a 'culture of winning' and continue prioritizing investment in the men's first team. The club has no plans to replace former sporting director Kevin Thelwell, with Jim Gillespie joining as CEO and the current football structure deemed effective. Former Liverpool player Stig Inge Bjornebye will remain as a football consultant beyond this summer.

The announcement comes amid discussions about away fans at Old Firm games, with talks already underway between Rangers and Police Scotland to ensure attendance at the final league meeting this season. Additionally, Rangers have proposed a meeting of all Scottish Premiership clubs to discuss refereeing standards and VAR technology, potentially taking place in the coming weeks.
